This week in interior Instagram posts

There have been two key flavours on 'the gram' this week.

First - objects of desire. Second - all things Mother's Day. Flowers, feminine shades, odes of appreciation, and wonder women who are designing, renovating, creating, or running businesses as well as their families.

On a side note, maybe we're just really due for a shopping trip, but the platform seems to be especially packed with colours, textures and prints that would fit right in at home, right now.

SHADES OF THE PAMPA

When you are just totally obsessed with @wearepampa you contemplate flying across the country just to visit 🙌🏼

A post shared by Stylist | Blogger | Perth 🌿 (@houseoferamiha) on

Like the arid grasslands of 'La Pampa' the brand by the same name beloved by Kiwi blogger in Perth, House of Eramiha, features the shades of sunset on earth (and we love it too).

WARM FOR WINTER

The colour temperature of these gorgeous posies by Thanks a Bunch in Nelson could warm you down to your bones and basically, we wish they were being sent to us instead.

DESIGN HIGH

Now this is how one brings personality to a contemporary kitchen come dining area, with contemporary light fittings that are more halo than chandelier. Nice one Inlite NZ.

FABRIC ART

You know we're all about making our own floral wreaths, but how about this divine fabric incarnation by The Flower and Willow World?

Have you got a fantastic or interesting house you'd like to show others? Let us know about it. Send your story, photos or video homed@fairfaxmedia.co.nz

KITCHEN SUCCESS

It might be Cara Maree Cameron's first kitchen renovation, but her commitment to hand painting the grout sealant is definitely paying off.

Plus, how chic is that matte black sink? Great choice.

THE THIRD DIMENSION

Something about this mixed media artwork by Christina Viscu instigates dreaming.

It's a piece that would pair well with other trends of the season, such as velvet furniture, indoor plants, and artisan metals in contemporary shapes.

PRE-MOTHER'S DAY MOMENT

Begin with daphne and jasmine in a glass jar, add an adorable story, one gorgeous daughter, and you have this cute and clever little snap by Jess of My Sister's Dress.

STRANGE BEDFELLOWS

Charcoal, marmalade, cream, a hint of baby blue and that botanical green we all know and love.

It's an unusual but totally restful bedroom combination by Chloe of Along Came Wolfe.

MATISSE INFLUENCES FOR MUM

Bums for Mums!!! Finishing a few lovely nudes for mother's day. #nudes #figuredrawing #drawings #lifedrawing

A post shared by Anna Stichbury Artist (@annastichbury) on

New Zealand's answer to Matisse's blue nude, artist Anna Stichbury's life drawing bares it all in the name of Mum.

BIRTHDAY ENVY

This Beauty and the Beast themed kids' party set up by A Little Confetti is so well designed, we're a little miffed we weren't invited.
